FREE ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS IN REGIONAL VICTORIA

This one-day workshop is designed for palliative care staff who have responsibility for the delivery of bereavement care services within their agency.

Focus

This workshop will provide a historical and theoretical context for the development of the Bereavement Support Standards, a detailed examination of the standards that underpin the document, and a detailed exploration of the triage and bereavement care pathway.

Building upon the strengths of current bereavement support strategies the workshop will have an applied focus. The workshop will consider the benefits of implementation and any challenges the adoption of the standards might pose for palliative care services.
