About Carer Support Services
Carer Support Services role is to assist carers providing support to a person or people who are frail aged, have dementia and/or challenging behavior, have a disability, chronic illness, mental illness and/or are receiving palliative care. They can provide:
- carers and carer support groups with information and resources
- assistance with individual respite planning
- respite care coordination
- residential respite booking service
- someone to talk things over with
- information on your rights as a carer
- advocacy
- emergency respite planning
