Carer Support Services

Carer Support Services’ role is to assist carers providing support to a person or people who are frail aged, have dementia and/or challenging behavior, have a disability, chronic illness, mental illness and/or are receiving palliative care. They can provide:

  • carers and carer support groups with information and resources
  • assistance with individual respite planning
  • respite care coordination
  • residential respite booking service
  • someone to talk things over with
  • information on your rights as a carer
  • advocacy
  • emergency respite planning
